Urgent!! OPK quest, Help!!

Hi, i think im getting closer to my ovulation days, i need to take a test soon. I took the Ovulation test on my CD6 and CD 10 came as O. i have cler blue easy digital. My question is, what time of the day do i need to do test?? i know for pregnancy we need 1st urine in the morning. do i have to follow the same procedure as on ovulation test? how you ladies do? please help. I think im on CD12 now. Thank you so much for your inputs.. :)

I read that you surge early afternoon so I always test around 2 pm. I always get a +opk that way, I also like the regular opks, not the digital because you can see he line getting darker and darker and you know when to bd as you're getting close to ovulation

I always do it first thing in the morning because it is most convenient for me. Last month my doctor's office wanted me to do it in the evening (about 7 or 8 pm) because I guess you are more likely to catch the surge at that time. More important than the time of day is that you need to follow the directions and make sure you have not urinated in the last 3-4 hours before testing. They say it is also best that you not drink too much in the hours before testing so you do not dilute the sample. Also you need to test about the same time of day every day so you don't miss the surge. Good luck!
