Would spotting be CD1?

Hi ladies! Last Tuesday (4 days before my period was to arrive) I had some spotting first thing in the morning after peeing. Then for two days there was nothing. On Friday AF came one day earlier than usual and it was lighter than normal. I only bled medium day 1 and light day 2 and 3. Now i'm wondering if the day I was spotting if that is technically CD1? Or would it have been Saturday the day AF came? I am curious because now im not sure when I will ovulate. I took a OPK test a few days ago and got a faint positive and the same yesterday. I'm so confused as I am only on CD8 (I think). Since I am taking 50mg of Clomid would that throw off the OPK? Any advice?

spotting doesn't count as CD1 - the first day of actual bleeding is considered CD1. Hope that helps! SSBD!
