Neurotin in place of norcos

I currently take about 4-5 Norcos per day for a very long time. I can get by on 3 but it can be difficult. Can I take Neurotin in place of the Norcos? Most of what Iv'e read says that the Neurotin is not addictive like the Norcos. If this will work, how long will I have to take the Neurotin?

Neurontin is a crummy pain reliever and is addictive. I was on them a while after a spinal injury. My own opinion of neurontin is: "The Bad News Bears".
