22 years old, need help badly, very scared!!!!!!

My neice is 22 years old and weighs over 230lbs.  She has never been able to loose weight, but the bad thing is, is she is growing facial hair and she complained to her mother the other night that her private was hurting pretty bad.  She has a very large oversized clit.  My aunt was terrified when she seen it and asked her daughter how long it had been like that.  She said forever.  The other sad thing is, is that other doctors have seen this and never mentioned anything.  Something it not right.  I need some guidence from someone please!!!!

I took a developmental psychology class last semester and we talked about ohh...can't remember the name of it now.  Some syndrome that develops because of a girl being exposed to too much androgens in the womb.  It then gives her more masculine features.  The clit will then become longer (because andrgoens are normally masculanizing hormones, girl may be get facial hair and not start menstruating.  You might want to ask the doctor about it.

This sounds like Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). Most sufferers are overweight, and have some degree of male pattern hair growth. Other typical features include heavy, irregular periods, male pattern hair loss on the head, thick body hair, facial hair, and sometimes chest hair. Weight tends to be centered around the middle, and very hard to lose. It is diagnosed by a gynecologist after a pelvic ultrasound, and hormonal blood tests. Try this link.
