[25F] Stomach pains, right-side rib soreness, left-side rib pressure HELP

I am a 25 yr old female. I will try to keep this as clean and to the point as possible, because there will be quite a bit.
My aunt has Hashimoto's disease, my mother has Hypothyroidism, my grandmother has both. I have had a number of symptoms of Hashimoto's for a large portion of my life, but I have never been diagnosed with any illnesses. I have been overweight for most of my life. In 2011, I started working with a trainer and lost about 65 lbs. I have gained it back, but am now working on losing it again. Weight when this started: 189 Weight now: 174

Here is the timeline of events:

Note: It is important to note that I have been taking 6 drops of nacent iodine & 200mcg of selenium daily to combat my thyroid symptoms until I can get a diagnosis, this combination reduces my enlarged thyroid.

Mid-Jan (Can't remember the exact date): Went to Endocrinologist to get tested for Hashimoto's & Hypothyroidism after having abdominal pain, constipation, enlarged thyroid, joint pain (knees & hips), and cold sensitivity. (thought symptoms were just getting worse). Both were negative. After the blood test, my blood sugar was 92 (I had Starbucks that morning), and it showed that I had fatty liver. Doc prescribed 1000mg of Metformin and said it was for being pre-diabetic. I started taking it, abdominal pain got worse. At this point, I was so miserable that I quit taking the Metformin, and quit eating sugar, and started dieting & exercising (i have lost 15 lbs since). Symptoms seemed to subside apart from random mild abdominal pain & constipation (which I treated with magnesium citrate)

End of Jan: Was walking dog, felt a sharp popping pain in my right abdomen by my hip, thought it was my appendix, went to ER. White blood cell count was slightly elevated, ER did CT scan said appendix was fine and that I probably had an Ovarian Cyst and to go see a gyno. Went to see gyno, gyno says I don't have any cysts on the CT scan, pelvic exam was normal. She said go schedule an appt with a Gastroenterologist.

Beginning of Feb: Started menstrual cycle. Cramps were almost unbearable: uncontrollable shaking, pain in the same spot as the "pop" (lower right abdomen by hip), and a sharp pain that ran down the nerve on the inside of my right leg. Took some pain killers, symptoms lasted one night.

During February: The previous symptoms have subsided. At this point, my bowel movements started changing. At first it was not at all, then it was ribbon-like for a week, the next week it was little hard pellets, then diarrhea, etc. It seemed to change weekly. Recently, it was been dark green and looks like mulch.

Fast forward to Friday (3/10/2017): I started having some stomach pains near the belly button, really bad bloating, severe indegestion, and right-side rib soreness. I took a pepto, and it helped a little, but they did not subside. It escalated to a mild sharp pain below my right shoulderblade. I could not eat more than a few bites at a time. This continued until Saturday. Note: I am currently not able to eat any fat, cholesterol, sugar, or gluten or these symptoms get worse.

Sunday (3/12/2017): I did not take the iodine and selenium today. I thought that maybe I was taking too much. The symptoms from Friday were not present, which was nice, but later in the day I started having some weird chest feelings/pains on the left side. My left arm got a little weak and the left side of my chest feels... full? For lack of a better term.

Today: Still feeling funny on the left side. Took a selenium, but no iodine. At this point, I have not had a fever, can still pass gas, have not seen any blood coming from anywhere, and have not been vomiting.

I have an appt with a Gastroenterologist on Wednesday, but am looking for any other advice anyone can give me, because I am terrified. Please help!!

If you don't like the idea of ginger in your diet or it doesn't seem to work for you. You could ask your doctor for a flexeril script in combination with an NSAID to relieve menstrual pain.

Why are you taking the selenium? I would suggest dropping to a lower dose for both selenium and iodine. After your gastro visit (if there's no luck) I would suggest getting your thyroid levels checked with your new lower dose of iodine in you. This way to better determine and if you are diagnosed your doctor can prescribe you a medication to regulate your thyroid hormones. Also for the menstrual pain, I would suggest adding ginger into your diet during your cycles. Check it up online but some small studies have found ginger reducing pain for women during their cycle.
