A few problems at once

I am a 20yo male, pretty healthy. Very recently I was talking on msn to someone. Long story short I got hit with some surprises. First my breathing increased, with shorter breaths, then I noticed my hands and feet getting numb. My heart was racing from what I'm sure was anxiety and stress. My hands continued getting worse, it was extremely different to call my friends phone, and a few seconds later I couldn't grip my cell and was only able to hold it at my ear with the back of my hand. My abs began getting numb shortly after my feet and hands were well on there way. I was unable to move my hands or feet from their numbbed poisition for a few minutes. My breathing was still very fast, it was hard to catch a breath to talk at all, obviously my heart was still just going.
Eventually my friend was able to calm me down a bit, I was trying to take deep breaths and get it under control. Eventually my feet finally started to come to, my hands stayed very numb and cramped longer before they also slowly came back to my control. The ab numbness disappeared last.

Some things that could matter: I've had 5 caffine pills (100mg) today, 4(100mg) and 1 (240ish mg) yesterday,5 hrs sleep in 48hrs (hence need for caffine pills), and I also smoked some weed today earlier in the day.

It hasn't come back to that again, but I'd like to know what possibly happened.

Thank you very much for you input in advanced. (I don't want to go to the hospital, hence why i'm on here, please don't refer me to go there)

Hey Bro, here are my two cents. I'm 50 Y/O as of july 26th this year. I was born with an aortic stenosis. I had it checked at Stanford when I was like 5 Y/O to see if I needed a valve replacement. I did not. So off I went into life. I started smoking dope at 16. Then Coke, Mushrooms, acid, mescaline, speeders, you name it. Booze too. I p@#$ed away my 20's and then cleaned up around 29 and got very fit. Like lifting in the morning, cranking out a 10 to 12 hour day running heavy equipment in Redding Cali, then getting off work, putting in a good 45 minute moto, then home, prep my bike for the next day, eat, and crash. I was doing this for years trying to get as far away from the loadie I'd been as i could. At 33 I tried to join the Rangers. i talked to a recruiter at a mall and he told me that I could make the age cut off, I was an animal fitness wise by then and he said the valve might be OK now. Well I went and got it checked and the doctor told me "No Way" and I needed to get it checked out again. Wow, this is long. He told me he had a friend with the same condition that dropped over dead at 37. I got the valve checked, the cardiolgist would not tell me what was up and sent me back to my primary care doc. He missed a page that said I should have an immediate heart cath and that would have told them I neede my valve replaced. I trained for the first marathon I'd ever done. I'd start out running and it would feel like a truck was on my chest. Pain like i could not believe. I ran I don't know, maybe 5 20 milers before that marathon. Then 3 days after I asked my current wife to marry me, I dropped over dead at a Breast cancer 5K. The EMT's had to bump start me twice. I was in the ICU for a week. My head crashed into the pavement and I was dazed for over a month. As soon as that cleared up They put the first valve job in me. I was 37 years old. I had that done, did 4 more marathons some triathlons and then in 2003 I thought I was burnt out. My times were all flattening out. So I just stopped. On March 1st of 2005 I got my second valve job done. In 2006 got my right knee replaced. 2009 I started the year off with an appendectomy, while they were doing that they found a mass inside me. Harmless, but a drag. Then to round out the year, I wadded up a supermoto mini Bike here in my neighborhood and got a massive dose of road rash on my face, hands and arms. The very day before i was to leave for a week vacation with my girl to go see our new grandson, I crash a BMX bike, fractured my radial head bone in my left arm and crushed my right side of my chest....and the topper, they found aneurysm on my aortic valve. While I was laying in the hospital that night I was texting this friend I had not seen for awhile. She died a few days later. The point is, your young and strong now and you may very well be all your life, but in my mind, your crazy not to seek out a cardiologist to have a look at your pump. I poured coke up my nose and did speed for days and never had what happened to you. Go check it out Bro. I have re read this book and If you don't believe me, I couldn't blame you, but it's the Gods truth. I'm not that bright, but I'm Lucky and still a tough old F#$%$R. Good Luck Bro, and if you made it this far thanks for lettingme burn up some clock. there will be no sleep for me tonight. Start of day three and W/D's are howlin!
GO EZ.

This sounds like the caffenine pills could've put u into an anxiety/panic attack. They are absolutely horrible and you feel like your going to die. When I get them my hands cramps up so it looks like I'm crippled. It seems like you took all those caffenine pills, no sleep and smoking pot put you into this panic attack. Caffiene pills are horrible for this. I just wouldn't take them again. Hope u don't go through this again. I know how it feels.

OK, first off, I am not a doctor or nurse or anything. I did, however, work long shifts in restaurants for years, and had a social life to match; if you know what I mean. So, with that badge of amateur knowledge, here we go. That is a lot of caffiene, lack of sleep, and then adding the weed. I am assuming that you probably had some soda, coffee, or junk food too. Have you eaten anything? If not, eat something. Not Cheetos and beer; food. Like a sandwich, something balanced. While any of those things all by themselves have been known to cause panic attacks, or to cause people to pass out or lose consciousness, all of them together could most certainly be your problem. If you have only slept 5 hours in the last 2 days, then you throw uppers and downers at it, and I am going to assume that there has been some stress involved (good or bad) if you essentially haven't slept in two days, your body freaked out and it sounds like it was pretty scary. You probably had a panic attack. If you haven't been eating consistenly, it could have been a blood sugar dip, (hypoglycemic incident) that can make you pass out. Bad News. Listen to your body. You gotta start sleeping, man. I know it *****, but it's a fact of life. If that happens to you again, you really should go see a doctor though, it could be something really serious. Like seriously, multiple sclerosis, pre-diabetes, heart arrhythmia, shock inducing, could kill or maim you; seriously. Ok? : ) Good luck kiddo, hopefully you are already asleep.
