A rash from sun
Hi all! I have posted this in several forums and thought I would try it here too. I am not diagnosed yet but have had weird symptoms for several years but the past year has been really rough on me. A few of my symptoms include: muscle weakness in legs, livedo reticularis(molting on skin), uveitis, hives when i get cold, severe vertigo(has lessened but is still there, extreme fatigue, and the newest being a rash when i go out in sun. The rash is only on my forearms and the v of my neck. I posted pictures on my profile. If you have any ideas of what could be causing this I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
I suffer from photosensitivity, but not as extreme as some.
If I am in 30 degree+ heat for more than an hour, especially without a cap and sunglasses, I get it. have only had it really bad once. Was in bed for about a week, thought I was dying. Flu like symptoms, body rash. Dizzy pressure feeling in the head, my eyes go all glassy, watery and sore, and have bad headache. Nausea and breathing problems.
I can't have solariums anymore, as I start to get symptoms immediately.
I don't stay in direct sunlight in summer for more than an hour, and I always wear a cap, and ALWAYS wear sunglasses outdoors, even on a cloudy, rainy, winters day. If sunlight enters your eyes, or is directly on your head, and photosensitivity is what you have, it will effect you quickly.....

I own an old fashioned parasol for walking on sunny days and have to wear prescription sun glasses all the time even indoors. i have two pairs kinda dark and really dark. so i would say im borderline allergic/ really sensitive.
my mother gets the vertigo , especially if she happens to get a burn, then she will be ill until well after it peals and heals.
my hubby jokes he married into a family of vampires.

Hey there. Yes i am sure it is some allergy to the sun or severe photo sensitivity but I have had so many weird problems it is hard for me to think that they are not linked I just somehow. Thank you for your help. When you say that you have photo sensitivity do you break out in a rash? If so is it bad or just mild?
