Abdomanel cramps after intercourse??

Hi all, I'm 18 years old and over the past few months I've been getting really painful cramps in my lower abdomen after intercourse, I wondered if anyone had any answers as to what this could be before I go to the doctor?

Hello~I hope your symptoms have resolved by now, if not, I suggest seeing your gyn, the cramps could be due to your husband not being gentle during sex, sometimes, endometriosis can cause cramps after as well. A gyn will be able to determine what type of tests need to be done, I would say that a pelvic ultra sound is definitely in order however.

I have that too. The doctor told me, that it is probably from rough sex.

I'm aware that is a possibility I have a hospital appointment booked tomorrow for a pelvic examination so hopefully I will know by then, my GP thinks it may be a cyst

Could be normal or could be a lot of things. That's one of those things that does typically require an examination. What are your periods like? It could possibly be a cyst or endometriosis.
