Anal issue

First off I am so embarrassed about this. Ice been having this issue for awhile and all of a sudden it ha become so bad

Hey hope all is well

My sister is demanding I go to the doctor now: my stomach has swelled up once again and having anal issues: she thinks it might be internal hemroids... I'm embarrassed about the other issue to basically I have to go back after using the bathroom for a follow up clean and also been lots of blood and a mess... Tonight my stomach hurts and feel miserable. The scale said I gained a couple of pounds and the pix I took made me look bigger  - so it's being checked.

I am embarrassed about the cleaning issue and showing my butt... I feel shy and it's hard to explain. Maybe my major stomach problems are a result.

What does everyone think

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Your embarrassment is understandable, but guess, you will have to be practical. Since there is blood which you can see, it is coming from the lower gut. This can happen in hemorrhoids, rectal polyps, diverticulosis (outpouchings from the bowel wall), inflammatory bowel disease, or dysentery.
In hemorrhoids the blood falls after the stool. In fissures it lines the stools. In all other problems the blood is mixed with stools.
Hence apart from hemorrhoids and fissures which can be examined by proctoscopy ( a small instrument kept at the anal opening), the other causes may need a colonoscopy.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral to a gastroenterologist/surgeon.
Take care!
