Antibody Lewis2, Low Potassium level, elevated Hemoglobin

I have all the above, but my doctor is mystified and does not know exactly what is going on w/me.  I also have osteoporosis, I am only 36.  I had a total hysterectomy at age 27 due to stage III endometriosis.  I also bruise just standing for an extended period of time.   Does anyone else have these symptoms?  Have you been diagnosed w/anything?  I have no idea what Antibody Lewis2 is.  Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Demi-First I would like to thank you for going to the depths that you did, as I have not been able to get answers even from my docs.
Next-
I have Osteoporosis, had a total hysterectomy, my blood pressure is always low, about 114/76.  I get fatigued very easily, have horrible headaches.  My doc has already done MRI's of the Head, spine, chest, w/no results expect a small lesion on my right breast bone.
MS runs rampant in my family:  Mom's mom, mom's sister , my 2nd cousin and now mom.
Now, I was premi and had scarlet fever and colitis when I was an infant.  Do you think there may be some correlation?
I have never been on diuretics, but recently had steroid shots for a cold I could not get rid of, plus I get allergy shots.  But my doc said my potassium levels were fine in the beginning of August when I was ill.  The potassium drop was just picked up on recently.
I will suggest to my doc that he do a blood type and maybe he should refer me out to a hemotologist?
You have really helped a lot, thanks!

Demi-
When I was in Germany and pregnant, the doctor tested my blood, and told me that I had the Antibody, and that I needed to carry a Red Cross booklet in case I needed a transfusion.  Years later back in the states, I asked my doctor and he knew nothing about it.  I have had 3 docs since, and none knew anything.

Well I may have found some answers for you. 1st the kinda' easy
ones. Lo-pot: shows up in diet of lo-pot/restricted foods of lo-pot/+pot. is found in all body cells. A lo-level could mean a
heart condition/or unknown muscle weakness or if you are on a
diuretic med. It's pretty necessary for Dr to bring that back up
either by supplements suggested or a banana, etc. The elev-Hemogl
could be lack of enough oxygen in red blood cells/dehydration/
or disorders of the lung/heart/or kidney. It is also in some
bone disorders but rare. I'm sure your Dr knows this stuff. I'm
pretty good at test interpretation but the Lewis 2 stumped me.
Called a friend at a lab. Here's a theory. In US there is no
test she could find called that, BUT, get requests for Lewis
testing w/ no # or word antibody. Lewis test is for 'out of the
possibility' of an unusual blood type different than A/B/O/RH.
They do an antigen test to bloodtype & once identified, your
type or antibody is maybe an A+pos (1 of norms). There is a lot
of other types we aren't familiar with that fall in a Lewis-
Panel. In Germany, the A=1/B=2? Just guessing. That would
explain why you need to carry a blood card for a transfusion if
needed. I'd personally use ID bracelet or chain. Cross blood
types & you can die sometimes. Idea seems likely you have a very
rare type or a goof. If in US, I'd ask Dr to do a blood-type
using our scale or identify. If it is so rare, you can donate
to yourself for storage or 1 week pre-surgery just in case.
The typing may be throwing tests or doing something to heart or
kidney function. Are you on any heart meds or have hypertension?
I think this is the only answer for Lewis 2 you'll find. Re-
test & make sure it's put in all records. Do you have any Dx's?

I can understand the things you've mentioned but can you re-ck
the name of the Antibody Lewis2 mentioned? There is a Lewis2
microbial test for environment, mostly water microbes people
have injested that transform into other microbes & make people
ill. This doesn't match your illness. Can you re-post back?

I also have an elevated hemogolbin and low potassium. The other thing I am not sure what it is but like you I am looking for a diagnosis. I just wanted to let you know you are not alone and good luck. If you find out anything please post an update.
