Appendicitis question

For the past two months or so,  I have had these bouts where my stomach starts hurting (around the middle),  and then I get this stabbing pain in the lower right hand side (where the appendix are). The pain is almost unbearable,  but then after a half an hour to an hour,  the pain goes away.  I am curious if it is possible that it is my appendix.  Can you have appendix pain that comes & goes?  I have no idea what else it could be,  and unfortunately don't have any health insurance & can't afford to go have 9 million tests run to see what it is.  What else could cause this type of pain in that area?

I haven't seen a gynecologist in a couple of years... Someone suggested to me that it could be endrometriosis.  I dunno,  guess it's time to go see the gyney.

Seen a gynecologist lately?  Ovarian cysts cause sharp pain that comes and goes, and mine had caused pain in different locations of the abdomen.

i had my appendix taken out when i was 17. i dont remember any sharp pains in my stomach. i was just sick for 2 days. my stomuch was hurtin, i felt nausious, couldnt eat. and when i finally started vomiting my dad took me to the ER. my blood work showed elevated blood count, which means infection, and i was admited. next day i had something like an abdominal CT scan, they said my appendix was slightly inlarged and took it out.
basically, if u only have sharp pains i dont think its an appendix.
