BEST OTC MEDS FOR ARTHRITIS/JOINTS

Would like some feedback from everyone about their experience with over-the-counter meds for arthritis and/or joint pain.  Am not taking anything right now.   Very hard to get out of bed in the morning.   Is there one thing out there that is better than another or should I ask my doctor for something.   Have it in most joints and in the back.   It's getting very bad.

Thanks everyone,

Naproxin sodium. I was on celebrex which was great, but my doctor won't prescribe it anymore. Naproxin is the generic version of alleve. You have to figure out the dose that is enough to take the edge off the pain but not too much to give you a stomach ache. I tried the glucosaimin and it didn't do a thing for me.

Massage is also great if you can afford it. Check out local community colleges or massage therapy schools to see if you can get work done by students at reduced rates or free.

Thanks for the info.   I will try and see if I can get any relief.    I would love to have a massage but I have Fibro and cannot stand anyone even touching me;  that causes intense pain that lasts for hours and/or days.
