Bad News

I just wanted to give everyone an update.  I am the one who was on here talking about my sisters' problem pregnancy.  She went for her second ultra-sound yesterday.  Now, in two weeks, she is scheduled to terminate the pregnancy.  According to the ultra-sound, the baby isn't growing at all and doesn't even have a heart beat.  My sister is heart broken.  All these years of marriage she thought she couldnt' even conceive.  But now that she knows she can,  I hope she doesn't loose hope.  I hope she keeps trying.

Hey,
I am so sorry to hear about your sister.  I had a cousin who had the same issue but the baby died at 7 months and she had to actually give birth - can't remember the circumstances surrounding that - but it was very hard emotionally for her.  They had tried for a long time.  But hopefully she won't stop trying - my cousin ended up with two very beautiful, healthy children.  I will most definately keep her in my prayers.

Your sister has my greatest sympathy I didnt have problems conceiving but I did have problems miscarrying and I also lost my second child at 6 months old so I do know how devstating it is believe me. Life is cruel sometimes and we can't figure out why!  Please try and stop people telling her ! you know you could have another one ,youve got plenty of time etc. Doesnt really help at all . I endured that and it certainly didnt help me I can tell you.  Shes lucky too have such a supportive sister. It means a lot at these difficult times to have loved ones close whilst we try and grieve for the child that would have been ours to cherish. Each person is different some want to get pregnant again straight away others need time to come to terms with loss. Whichever she decides i HOPE YOU SUPPORT HER IN HER DECISION WHATEVER IT MAY BE .  Best wishes to you and yours at this time. xx Chris
