Bizarre shaking fits that hurt a little

So ever since I was about 9 I've been having these weird episodes several times a day. What happens is I suddenly get this strong and heavy feeling over my head chest and shoulders. Its a weird feeling that doesn't really compare to anything else, and when it sets in I get disoriented and can't react enough to let people know what's happening. This lasts for at most two seconds and then I start shaking exclusively in the upper part of my body. The shaking is violent and often painful and sometimes I collapse after wards but I never lose consciousness, but I do feel tired and confused.I'm aware the entire time it happens, but I sometimes don't fully recover for a few minutes, but other times as soon as the shaking stops I'm fine. I rarely make any noise when this happens and its usually so quick that people around me rarely see the actual shaking, especially because I can't warn them. There are times when this gets worse, and when it does I often struggle with my legs getting weak or giving out completely, sometimes for days in a row. I've tried talking to multiple doctors about this and most of them think I'm making this up because they don't think its a seizure but don't know what else it could be. The only few doctors who believe me want footage of the shaking but I don't have enough warning to know when to film. There is a possibility that this is linked to multiple sclerosis, because I have mysterious lesions in the white matter of my brain, but I have not been diagnosed with anything yet. When I try to look into it I can't find anyone with multiple sclerosis who is describing the same thing. Does anyone have any suggestions about what may be happening?

Hello~Your symptoms point to epileptic seizures. I recommend seeing a neurologist, he/she will be able to tell if it epilepsy or MS or some other neurological disorder.

Also, you might want to see a chiropractor, you may have some misalignment's in your neck, these can cause seizure-like symptoms as well. After he/she takes some x-rays and determines the areas that need help, you will get an adjustment on your neck and upper back, after a few treatments, you should feel better.

However, as I said, I would check with a neurologist first to rule out any neurological issues. Even then, after they treat you, a chiropractor may still be able to help.
