Blood Clot in leg????

About 6 weeks ago I suffered a blow to the shin area of my right leg.  At the time the leg bruised quite badly, swelled and became very discolored.  It was also sore.  Since then the bruising and discoloration have gone away and just about all of the swelling except for one small area ( a lump)  that hurts to touch (and sometimes aches) and swells from the size of a pea to about 2 inches across mostly when I am sitting.  I also get tingles in that foot.  Should I be concerned about a blood clot.

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Without actually examining the lump, it is very difficult to comment. The lump on the inner side of leg is most likely a neurofibroma (localized harmless swelling in a nerve) or a lipoma (localized collection of fat). Folliculitis (hair follicle infection) can sometimes persist. It can also be a swollen gland or a lymph node. If you had an injury it could be a hematoma too.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!

This painful lump that varies in size can be an infected hematoma, an aneurysm, or an abscess. Please do not ignore it as it also presses upon some nerve causing the tingling sensation. Do consult your family doctor immediately.
Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
