Brown stains under armpits and collar

I noticed that the last couple of months that I have been getting brown or yellow stains under my armpits and around my collar. I shower every day, but everytime that I wear a white shirt I wash it and there they are the stains.
I have tried changing detergents and using more Clorox, but the stains won't go away. What could be causing this ?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The brown stains could be due to the sweat reacting with soap, detergent, perfume, deodorant, oil, or anything else that comes in contact with either your skin or the cloth. The other possibility is high acid content in sweat. If this is the case, then causes like diabetes, kidney problems etc will have to be looked into.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Sometimes sunblock and sunscreens can cause this. Could it be that?

It could also have a lot to do with you body acidity level. Do you drink a lot of water?

It's actually probably a chemical reaction either between the clorox and your sweat or the clorox and your deodorant.  Bleach itself can actually yellow whites after a time.
