Noticed another bruise on my finger this morning - on underside of middle finger at the joint near the end of the finger (left hand). Had not injured the finger, no pain or stinging like a blood vessel had burst; what can cause this? Had a bruise that had a knot in it on the ring finger on right hand a few weeks back...again this bruise showed up - on the palm side, at the joint near the palm - without pain, although touching the knot would hurt. The discoloration is gone but the little knot is still there. The new bruise on the left hand doesn't have a knot.
