Burning brain?

I'm a 17 year old female. For about a month now, I've been having these horrible, weird symptoms from God knows what. I've had a mild headache for about a month or 2 now. My parents believe it could be anxiety. I am on an anti depressant and it does help much with that. Lately, I've been feeling this burning sensation in my forehead. It only occurs in my forehead. I haven't been feeling nauseous but I do get dizzy every now and then. I've been to an eye doctor, thinking it could be my vision but he said my vision is perfectly fine. I am terrified that there could be something severely wrong.

Every now and then I when I move my eyes to extreme sides theres a pain in my head. It's not a horrible pain but it's definitely there. I haven't had any flushing sounds in my ears, but I do hear a lot of ringing lately. A few nights ago I had what my boyfriend believes to be a panic attack. I was in dead sleep, and woke up could not breathe. At night when I try to sleep, I get these "dizzy spells" as my doctor calls it. Another thing I forgot to mention was my attention span. Lately I can't seem to focus on anything as much as I usually do. As in, driving. I have a really hard time driving mainly at night. I've had MRI's and CT's done and there was nothing out of the ordinary, but these were done about a year ago. About 6 months ago I had blood and urine tests done and everything seemed fine. I'm thinking that maybe all of these unusual symptoms may be from my Anti-Depressants. I have also been a little more impatient and angry a lot lately. It's getting harder and harder to control my anger.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
There is a chance that you have compression of the spinal nerves in the cervical spine region. This can happen due to overuse of computers, work involving straining of neck, herniated disc, canal stenosis, bone disease, spondylosis, poor posture etc. A MRI of the cervical spine and nerve conduction studies may be required. Please consult a neurologist. The treatment is to remove the compression. You have to discuss the best treatment option with a neurologist, which can range from medication to physiotherapy to traction, cervical collars or even surgery. Alternatively you can visit a chiropractor or a physical therapist and learn some exercises which you can do to relieve the compression.
Use a hard bed to sleep. Avoid a pillow. Roll a towel and place it under your neck while sleeping on the back and between head and shoulder when lying on the side. Initially this will be uncomfortable but with time the acupressure will do wonders. Use an analgesic cream or spray. Anti-inflammatory drugs help.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

I'm sorry, i meant hypertension, look here:
Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH), sometimes called by the older names benign intracranial hypertension (BIH) or pseudotumor cerebri (PTC), is a neurological disorder that is characterized by increased intracranial pressure (pressure around the brain) in the absence of a tumor  or other diseases. The main symptoms are headache, nausea  and vomiting, as well as pulsatile tinnitus (buzzing in the ears synchronous with the pulse), double vision and other visual symptoms.

It sounds more like intracranial hypertonia, but tell please, do you have any flushing sound in your years, try to move your eyes to extreme sides and tell if it hurts, how well do you sleep and what are you doing in general part of the time

Dizzy can be ears, or so many things - it is just not specific.
Go see a doctor. Get an exam.

"Horrible, weird symptoms" is, I'm afraid, not specific enough for anyone to get a good idea of what you are feeling. It could be the beginning of hormone imbalance, as that can cause anxiety. The dizziness could be low blood pressure, hypoglycemia (which also causes anxiety), or even just dehydration, or a need for a little more salt in your diet.

You might ask your doctor for a blood workup; hormones and electrolytes, and especially iron. Low iron, common in women your age, can cause the symptoms you mention.

Take care, Enzy
