CBC question

I had a CBC in August WBC 6.8, had one on Sunday b/c of low grade fever, sore throat, cough,and on and off chills( for about 10 days) and because I found a bruise on my back. WBC 9.7, platelets 240,000. Strep and u/a -, lungs clear...
MD doesn't know what's wrong, says it c/b a virus, did a repeat blood this AM, doens't think the bruise is consistent with Leukemia, said it s/b all over and wouldn't heal in 2 days like it did.
Saying that word made me worry...do you think that could be a possibility?
None of the blood work in the last 2 times were abnormal, never had a bruise appear out of no where, no loss of appetite, no weight loss, no SOB, not any tired than normal ( 4 kids), exercise regulary...
The MD made me nervous by even suggesting that...
Please tell me if you think I could have it, or if you think I should do something else...

The only lab test that they found with me went back to a slightly elevated ANA (Anti Nuclear Antibody), which was 130. Basically, that's not enough to be classified as full fledged Lupus, but it's just something my doctor said I'll have to keep an eye on down the road.
Oddly enough, I was on a beta blocker medication that has been known to provoke a mild, drug induced form of Lupus, which might have been the case in my scenario, I don't know. Beta blockers interfere with your epinephrine (Adrenaline), and we know what Adrenaline goes hand in hand with-stress.
On a side note, it'll be interesting to see what comes of some of the many studies going on right now that involve copper metabolism. The synthesis of Epinephrine is highly correlated with copper, to my understanding.
They are reversing heart damage in Type 2 Diabetics right now by way of giving patients copper chelators, and there have even been some whispers that it might even go beyond just heart damage prevention in such cases.
