Chest discomfort and speech problems

Starting in early December I started to experience some weird feelings. It started off with me and my girlfriend noticing that i was jumbling my words and having trouble pronouncing words that i had no trouble with before. Then just a few days later i started to have a gasping feeling in chest and a racing heart, even when sitting. Headaches and pressure in the head followed, that lead to internet symptom searching. Which lead to me fearing I had a stroke or a brain tumor, by the way im 20 yrs old. With me fearing the worst, I made an appointment with my doctor and he ordered a CT scan of the head and sinuses, which both came back negative. He said this all could be stress related, I have had these symptoms for almost 6 months.... needless to say I don't believe that stress is causing all of this. I want a MRI, but how do i go about getting him to order one? Do I need one? Also as crazy as this sounds... I've noticed that my nose has changed, yes my nose. The thing looks pointier...Like I said, it sounds crazy, lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply... Man this really sucks, I just can't get over how i went from being fine to feeling like Sh*t over night. Plus to add to all the frustration, the doctors dont even know what is causing all of this. The headaches feel like i have sooo much pressure in my head....intracranial pressure? I don't want to come across as a hypochondriac, it's just I've noticed changes in my appearance, etc..... I guess it's back to the doc.

What exactly is a coronal CT scan? also would you recommend a MRI or a coronal CT? Will any of these show ICP?
