Chills with shaking and sick feeling

Last night, right after laying down for the night, I started having chills, goose bumps, and shaking all over and just freezing and feeling rather weak. Could that be a sign of something coming on? I have been diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension, moderate sleep apnea about a year and half ago. I have had several nxiety attacks over the last few years and also esophygus problems which is qute sore at times. Do I need to check in with my doctor?

You have symptoms of the influenza virus.  Get plenty of bed rest.  Take pain relief medications as recommended on the packet that will also help to lower the fever.

Drink plenty of fluids, water and fruit juices so that you do not become dehydrated.  Don't worry about not eating, as long you are drinking (keep off dairy products until you are well).

Unfortunately there is no cure for influenza, but if your symptoms do not subside over the next day or so, or you start to feel worse, get pains and start to cough, then phone your doctor for advice.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.
