Chronic pain on the lower left side of the head

hi....im 31yrs old weigh around 51kg and for the last few weeks ive been feeling a chronic pain on the lower left side of my head behind my ear. I just had my eye glasses changed in November 2009 so not sure whether it has something to do with that. No nauseous feeling but getting palpitations. Last year I had some vaginal discharge yellowish...but no foul odor...went for check up transvaginal ultrasound, papsmear and all but nothing detected and now im getting the same discharge. Sexually active....

please advise.....

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Get your eyesight checked again. There is a possibility that the glasses are not suiting you, maybe because your power has changed or maybe because the prescription glasses have a fault.
The other possibility is neck stiffness due to overuse of computers or a pinched cervical nerve. If the glasses are ok and eyesight fine, then consult a neurologist to rule this out. Alternatively you can visit a chiropractor for confirmation.
Chronic mastoiditis and TMJ should also be thought of if nothing else is found.
It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
