Cobweb sensation that moves primarily on the left side of my face, but to....

Cobweb sensation that moves primarily on the left side of my face. From my left eyebrow, to left eye, to left sideburn, to left side of nose to under my bottom lip and under my chin sometimes going to my chest and sometimes in my hair on my scalp as well....

Hi I'm a 19 y/o male and this  has been going on since September. basically it gets really active when I'm in a crowded room or on the computer too long. may have something to do with static electricity. It is not constant. Seems to go away when I'm outside in nature.  It was so bad at one point I had scratched my retina unknowingly pretty bad trying to get it out of eye. I went to the doctor and they couldn't see the hair even with a magnifying glass. . And my mother does not want to take me to the doctor anymore but she has no idea how bad it bothers me. Occasionally it moves to the right side of my face and not just the left. I have also felt it on the back of my neck. I can move it with my fingers. . I occasionally have taken off VERY fine hairs and they just stick to my finger by the end of the hair and 'dance' around  in the air as if it has something to do with static electricity. I'm afraid you people on here are going to ignorantly label me as mentally unstable or paranoid but keep in mind I have been living with this feeling for months. I'm just now making a post about it. I'm sick and tired of it. I am very sensitive and prefer not to be labeled when you don't even know me... Thank you.

Trigeminal neuralgia? 5th cranial nerve palsy? Just a guess. Please see a pain specialist or neurologist. This is a rather interesting case, but I'm sorry you're going through that. Let me know what happens.

Hello~I am sorry you are having these issues, I know it is no fun having something that causes folks to think you are mental. Let me assure  you, you are not mental, your symptoms, to me, point to nerve impingements in your neck, when this happens, you can have all kinds of weird sensations as oxygen and blood flow is being compromised. I suggest seeing a chiropractor, he/she will take some x-rays of your upper back and neck and will be able to determine what is going on, they will then adjust you accordingly, these odd feelings should go away shortly after the treatments begin as the impingement will be released.
