Consistently Craving Food

Hello. I am a 19-year-old female. I am not too fat, nor too skinny for my height. I've been having strong hunger pangs as of the past 2 weeks, and I've gained 2kg from this constant hunger. I notice that I eat especially a lot at night, when my cravings are the worst. It's not that I am hungry, it is just that I desire to eat all the time, and no matter how full I feel, there is always a need for me to eat. It's strange, I could have eaten an extremely filling meal, like Thanksgiving meals, and crave for more food just 1 hour later.

I don't think this is a mental thing, since I don't feel any more stressed than I usually do. Also, besides this hunger, my mood has been quite stable. I have, however, decided to begin exercising once a day in hopes that this problem will resolve itself.

I have cravings too! Especially after a big headache. What I have found most useful is a calorie tracker app

Try drinking more water.  Every time you feel obsessed with food or hungry at inappropriate times, usually the body is telling you it's thirsty and not hungry.
