Cortisol levels high?

Hi,

I just had my cortisol (serum) levels tested and they came back 34. This was done at around 9 am and the reference range for adults for an 8 am results were 8.0 to 19. My doctor did not mention anything about it, but if my levels are higher than 19 should I be concerned? Please help me understand if this is something I should be concerned about or not.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes, this is SOMETHING that you should be concerned about and it should be further investigated.  Ask your physician if he/she is going to address this.
