Cumiden

I was given Lovenox and cumiden for a leg blood clot for six days.  After the sixth day I was told to no longer take any of the medications.  I experienced headaches. I went to the hospital for blood work and a cat scan.  All turned up well.  My blood reading was INR 1.83 and pro time 21.7.  I am now experiencing lack of energy, slight fever.  What can I do?
I am taking 2 mg of cumiden at this time (as of yesterday).  I was taking 5 mg of cumiden and 100 mg of lovenox at 12 hour intervals for six days prior to this new dosage.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Headaches, low fever, fatigue etc are all side effects of Coumadin. Please discuss with the doctor about dose adjustment.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

I'd check back with doctor and call the coumadin clinic, if you're being followed by one.
