DIAGNOSED WITH FATTY LIVER

HI...I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH FATTY LIVER BACK IN 2002..USED TO DRINK MODERATE ..LIVER ENZYMES WERE HIGH...DOCTOR TOLD ME TO STOP DRINKING WHICH I DID...SINCE 2005 TILL 2008 MY LIVER ENZYMES ARE IN NORMAL LAB SPEC  ALT=60 RANGE=30-65....WHAT AM WORRIED ABOUT IS THAT IS MY FATTY LIVER GONNA PROGRESS TO CIRROSIS? IS MY FATTY LIVER CONDITION REVERSEBLE..ACCORDING TO MY ULTRA SOUND REPORT IN 2007 IT MENTIONS "THE LIVER SHOWS DIFFUSE INCREASED ECHOGENICITY WITH AREA OF HYPOECHOGENICITY IN THE MEDIAL LEFT HEPATIC LOBE. THE PATTERN CONSISTENT WITH BENIGN FATTY INFILTRATION WITH AREAS OF FOCAL FATTY SPARING".  AM IN STAGE OF SIMPLE FATTY LIVER OR ALCOHOL HEPETITAS. FOLLOWING ARE MY RESULTS FROM LAB LAST 5 YRS.
2004=  ALT 46         RANGE=<36
2005=  ALT 23         RANGE=<36
2006=  ALT 54         RANGE=3 - 60
2007=  ALT 41         RANGE=9 - 60
2008=  ALT 60         RANGE=30 - 65

Will FATTY LIVER and higher AST or ALT conditions increase PSA and free-PSA data?

It is difficult to predict whether fatty liver will progress to cirrhosis.  Generally, it won't if the inciting cause is stopped.  In your case, it may be alcohol.

I agree with the ultrasound and the serial blood tests.

To further evaluate the extent of any damage, a liver biopsy can be considered.
