MY leg feels tight. It is not a full blown cramp its like an akward tightness achy feeling. Feels weird when I walk on it. My neuro says anxiety no atrophy.  My tongue feels same way. its been 6 weeks of everyday. My toes feel like they squished together. emg normal.

Hi I initially started off with really bad toe spasms in both feet  to the extent that I could not move any of my toes on either foot. These spasms did not hurt like normal cramp! This affected my walking pattern as my toes were locked in an upwards position for most of the time. I then developed cramps in my calves which were the same  and then myoclonus ( tremours very much like parkinsons)  I know how frustrating it is believe me ! What has your dr said ? Have you tried asking about some muscle relaxants to see if that helps?

what do you mean toe spasms and your toes were upward? my toes move just fine, they just feel cramped. what do you mean not a normal cramp  worse? Mine feel really tight. is is in just one leg.
How long after spasms and cramps did u notice atrophy?
do you have weakness? How rapid was atrophy. I have not had any change in 5 weeks. I dont know that they were not different sizes before. Can u walk?

Hi spring bit difficult to explain but you know when you normally get cramp it hurts! Well my toes started to go into spasms . If you put your toes in an upward postion all together thats where mine were all together on both feet and I was unable to move them voluntarily. My mobility is severly restricted( can only walk 30 yards at most at any one time)  thats why I have atrophy in both legs .
Do you think yours is related to anxiety only you know whether that could be ? Anxiety can cause horrendous symptoms ! There again my neurologist doesnt know whats causing my symptoms other than dx of neurological gait /movement disorder of unknown cause at the present time . Science doesn't always seem to have answers for all of us as yet .

So the atrophy came from lack of use? Would you say you have weakness? I am soory to ask so much. I am scared to death. What did the spasms in your legs feel like? hurt worse than a cramp? How long to it take for the atrophy to appear?

Please don't get yourself into a panic its so easy to read too much into whats going on sometimes. I think cramps can be brought on by vitamen deficiencies etc Hope someone answers this one as I don't know which ones.
Yes my atrophy results from several things 1. not being able to walk far and also muscles contracting when they shouldnt during various phases of the walking cycle and weakness in both legs. . Its quite complicated walking even though we don;t know it! The cramps in my legs do not hurt. I also have alot of other symptoms so please don't look on the negative side for yourself. You are only going to make yourself ill thinking about what it could be !

Are you sure its not something to do with your knee ? Could possibly be an issue. Apologies spring but I don't really have any other suggestions. Maybe someone else can help you but I dont thinks its anything horrible so don't dwell on it too much although I do appreciate it does worry you Take Care
