Did I take too much acetaminophen in a four-hour period?

Hi, last night I took 2 Tylenol extra strength at 10:30 pm for a headache. I was having pretty bad allergies as well. so I took 2 offbrand Benadryl severe allergy & sinus headache (Meijer off-brand) at about 2:38 am. I believe the Tylenol extra strength contained about 500 mg of acetaminophen in each capsule. The offbrand Benadryl contains 325 mg of acetaminophen, 25 mg of diphenhydramine HCl, & 5 mg of Phenylephrine HCl in each capsule. Was this okay to do? I saw on the package later this morning on the offbrand allergy medicine that it says not to take with other drugs containing acetaminophen. I'm worried that I may have taken too much in that time period because I'm still really tired this afternoon.

Read and go by the labels of any medicines that you take.  Overall, I've seen that 4000mg. is the maximum amount of acetaminophen an adult should take, from all sources, with 3000mg. as the safer limit, due to liver issues.
