Dizziness-cannot find case like mine

I feel there is much I should tell you but will try to be brief. 36/W/F/Div/1 child/from SE/5'6,175lbs/smoker for 18 yrs. Chronic headaches started at 12, no final diagnosis, still daily. Usually mild but are sometimes very bad. Scoliosis, problems w disk in lower back, broken tail bone. Chronic nasal discharge, blow my nose about 12x a day. Sinus surgery in 98. On Toprol for slightly elevated BP. Ask for this because of family history. It hit about 139/90 a few times and I took action. High cholesterol, on Zocor. On disability for depression, ECTs in 96, have taken about every drug out there for depression & anxiety. Currently take 300 mg daily of Effexor and Buspar. I have not been on any of these meds for the whole past eight years. Have had several MRIs and Xrays.  CBCs always fine. Last one a few days ago. Had complete bloodwork up of sugar, heart, kidneys and lungs a few months back. All fine. Just had lung Xray a few days ago, all was clear. Had EKG just today which was fine. Have mild MVP (regurgitation) but was not prescribed meds. Also have NF1 presenting with just cafe aulait spots.
My main problem-dizziness since 99, right after my son was born. Began taking Xanax per my psyc as he thought it was some type of panic attack. I have never had what most people consider a panic attack. Xanax at 0.5 a dose has helped until recently. These spells come on for no apparent reason. I dont hear ringing, no hearing probs, no drainage from ears, no ear pain which I feel like rules out Meniere Disease/vertigo. I dont feel like things are spinning. My head feels full of water and pressure. The thing that helps most is putting pressure between my eyes with fingers. I have 20/20 vision. Sometimes I feel nauseated but never have come close to vomiting. I dont feel like Im going to faint but feel as if I think someone would feel if their sugar dropped, BP shot up or dropped, or like their circulation is being cut off at their neck. I feel sometimes as if I need to eat, do and feel better. It can be sweet or salty but sometimes HAS to be sweet. Which confuses me about problems with sugar because I can be drinking something sweet and have these attacks but still need to eat something sweet. Its destoying my life.  I cant go out and do anything without thiese happening. They dont occur upon rising, before or after doing anything in particular. Im so sick of this. Doctors blow it off. Ive tried Antivert but Xanax works just as well.  Sometimes I have to take 0.5 Xanax about 3-4 times a day, sometimes not at all. My head usually has a dull pain during these but not like headache pain. My concentration gets off with these. Sometimes I get hot with no sweating when these occur. I am at my wits end. I can find nothing online about these symptoms. People always have other systems. Im 36, single, attractive but have NO life. What the heck is wrong with me?
Im so sorry this is so long. I just feel some of the other problems I have my give you an idea as to what it could be.

I have had dizzy spells for over 10yrs now.  I have no idea why though.  When it hits I feel like I'm walking on a moving floor, when I sit down I feel like I'm gonna fall to one side.  My mind gets real fuzzy and I cannot concentrate at all.  The room doesn;t spin.  When mine hits it will last about a week and be 24/7, it will just go away as quickly as it came.

I finally went to see a Neurologist about this, he has no clue either....he is running a MRI on my brain, neck and spine.  I have Fibromyalgia so it could come from that too.

Actually my right ear rings constantly, its just a part of me now.

I cannot function when it hits, I have to stay home and do nothing.  I will NOT get behind the wheel of a car when this hits.  It really interfers with my life.

My mother started getting these episodes too, after she started getting them she found soooo many others she knew that had this problem.  So your NOT alone.

Have you tried Myclezine?  Most people that have our problem take this....and it does help.  Ask your Dr if you can try it...it is like a prescription strength of Dramamine.

I hope my post helped.

Hope

It sounds similar to something I experience that I have always put down to allergies (fluid in ears, passages). It also could be related to your headaches in that the nausea etc. could be due to migraines.

It doesn't sound like anything serious though.
Good luck.
