Dizziness turning head

Hi!

I've been getting increasingly dizzy when I turn my head to the side. I also get pain in my neck when I turn it, and can't turn it very far. It often feels sore, like the muscles in the back have just had a work out. It also feels stiff and like I need to crack it. It often cracks on its own when I move it. There is also some numbness I did used to crack my neck when I was younger.

I do have some pressure in my ears, but the neck issues have been happening longer. I do have frequent ear and sinus infections, but they don't always coincide with the worsening of the dizziness from turning my head (they come with a lighter fuzzy headedness)

I also have almost constant tingling in my tongue and around my mouth, but I don't know if it's related.

I was diagnosed with a mild pinched C5-C6 a couple years ago, and it was also found to be at root of wrist and shoulder issues I've been having (shoulder bursitis, labrum irritation, and de Quervain's, as well as just general pain, discomfort, swelling, and limited motion.

I had normal neck x-rays, apart from the pinched C5-C6 nerve and some straightening of the neck, as recently as four months ago. During a few of my doctors' exams of my neck, I started to black out and they had to pause. I think I had the same movement exam 4 times over the last two years, and almost passed out 3 times. Could it be another thing from the pinched nerve, or something else entirely?

The severity varies. Right now it is pretty bad. I can't turn my head to the right without feeling pain and increased dizziness, with some black spots. It hurts more but makes me less dizzy if I look right and down, and is the reverse if I look right and up.

The worsening of it has followed the return of other problems related to my pinched nerve. I had been feeling pretty good after a course of PT and shoulder & wrist cortisone shots a couple of months ago. Now I'm back to where I was before PT, and in some ways worse.

Any thoughts?

My doctors didn't really say anything about them. It was assumed to be related to something else, and I didn't even think about the fact it had happened multiple times until today.

I haven't been to the doctor in a couple of months because I can't really afford to right now.

Hi. :) What did your doctor say about your symptoms? Are you seeing a specialist? Bless you and be well.
