Hello,

I can think of only two conditions which are associated with such vibratory sensations. One is syringomyelia which is a disorder in which a cyst or cavity forms within the spinal cord. This cyst, called a syrinx, can expand and elongate over time, destroying the spinal cord. The other one is anterior spinal artery syndrome which causes ischemia or infarction of the spinal cord.

Unfortunately this is all that can be judged at the moment without examination.I sincerely advise you to get yourself evaluated from a neurologist and discuss these two possibilities with him.

Hope it helps.Take care and regards.

I wish I could elaborate more on this but that is really the only way that I know to describe it.  I described it just as I felt it.  I have the twitches as well but lately started feeling vibration like feelings in my legs and feet and has now progressed to that plus a feeling of movement (like how water flows down a stream) that is the kind of movement I am referring to and I just don't know what to do.  Have been to just about every kind of doc I can think of but most of them don't sit down and take the time to really listen and try to help you.

Hello,

Pls elaborate on the symptoms and the type of movement. Is it twitches of muscles/spasms/peristaltic movements of abdomen/palpitation or feeling of heart beat?

If it is muscle twitches, then it can be due to acid-base imbalance in the body, low sodium, calcium and vit D deficiency, muscle fasciculation syndrome(a disorder of the nervous system characterized by the uncontrolled twitching (fasciculation) of muscle groups in various parts of the body),ALS,chronic fatigue syndrome, hypoparathyroidism or other neurological disorders.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted in case of any additional doubts.
