Drenching Sweats 24/7

I get drenching sweats around the clock, it has been going on for several months, sometimes less often, but mostly continuous. They come with no apparent rhyme or reason, everything (from no movement to simple movements or even exercise, and cold or hot or room temp) seems to aggravate or induce them, and NOTHING seems to relieve them. Living in the shower is NOT an option and it is a very temporary remedy anyway.  I seem to have only 2 temperatures, either I am cold/freezing or I am sweating. (I have always been a person who feels cold under normal circumstances.) I am being monitored for hypo thyroid-ism (10 years), and am at the tail end of menopause (been like 8 yrs.) I have run the gamut of menopause symptoms and have been cycle free for 3+ years. I am on only 3 scripts at this time: Liothyronine (thyroid), Pantoprazole (acid reducer about 2 years) and Nystatin (yeast/fungal) for a short term. I do have TMJ and have been working with my Dr on allergies to foods, but frankly I am tired of this and the Dr. seems to not have any more clue then I do... for a while it seemed as if it was related to menopause, but we no longer believe this. All the other web sites I have looked at indicate things like fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and cancer related issues, none of which I have.... Does anyone have a clue????

excessive sweating isn't actually that uncommon, I'm surprised that your MD is having such a hard time diagnosing you...I know a couple of people who suffer from the same thing and botox has been extremely helpful...just something you may want to think about/bring up to your doc. Hope this helps.
