Enlarged lymph node

I have an enlarged lymph node upper left chest under collar bone. It did not show on ultrasound. Referred to surgeon to have an excisional biopsy. The Dr seemed optimistic, but needless to say I am worried and having been reading myself scared!!!! What do you think?

I would opt for the biopsy. Then you will know if it is nothing or something. Please let me know when you will be biopsied and will you post to me your results? I will be thinking about you.

Thanks,

Deb

Thanks for responding.  Its hard, doesn't really move and is about the size of a grape.  It doesn't hurt, but I know its there so it drives me crazy. The Dr said  he'll take it out, biopsy it and we'll take it from there!!!!!  Easier said than done!

What is the size of the node? Is it hard or soft and moveable?
