Epidural Steroid Injection?

i have been haveing these injections and now they have stopped since   4 months ago im feeling terrible  tired lethargic an feel like i have no energy whatso ever i have had blood tests done an all are ok i also have an appointment to see my surgeon  next month as i was thinking of haveing the operation done but have now  changed my mind but  i was told that i was only allowed so many of these injections which iwas haveing roughly every 6 months for about 3 years are these symptons im getting due to comming of the steriod injections as my life has changed tremendos really feeling a burdun to every one an can i carry on haveing these injections i have 3 discs leaning on the spinal chord 4th 5th an 6th top of the neck these injections were briliant an had a life but now without them im not the same person is there anything i can do or see anyone about tthe way im feeling its making my an my familys life so misserble is it because im not getting the steriods,,,  please can sombody help !!! thanks     nannylorraine

The epidural injections were not at all painful, I repeat, not at all painful.  If you feel any anxiety and/or apprehension about these injections, let both your nurse and attending doctor know prior to them.

no i was not told of any side affects but i have not had an injection since sept last year an i am now haveing withdrawral symptoms frm the steroids an believe me i really feel so ill an yes i will be keeping the appt with my surgeon to tell you the truth only these e s injections i no of an i will be looking into wat you r suggesting  thanks eva so much replying ... nannylorraine

I'm in the process of having them don first I have to get a MRI..Is it painful. and does it hurt when they inject you?

Have you ever been told the side effects of these epidural injections; I was not, and afflicted with 'epidural lipomatosis' (look it up in your computer);  Trust me, you don't want anymore epidural injections!
I would definitely keep that appt. with your surgeon.  I had a neck fusion and it went really really well except for a few minor problems,  patricia01788
