Everyday pain in left lower abdomen

I posted a question about two years ago about my wife she is 37 y/o now that had total hysterectomy in 2007 and Gastric bypass in 2005.It was about pain she had under her navel that radiated to her back and come to find out it was adhesions from her prior surgeries and they were removed and she was better.Well ironically now she has kind of the similar pain but more intense and it is on the lower left side of abdomen right between the stomach and hip and it is more painful and frustrating than the first and also there is a small knot in that area .We have seen various doctors starting with a Gastroenterologist that have did barium swallow,ct scans also colonoscopy and endoscopy and all these have came back normal detecting nothing wrong .My wife said the pain hurted worse after she did the colonoscopy. Also we just currently seen a General Surgeon and he made a referral for my wife to see another Gastro doctor at the Ochsner Clinic in Baton Rouge La. He said he did not want to chance doing surgery so he wanted her to see another Gastro doctor at a more advanced facility and he said this one is,so we took his word for it. This pain she's been having for 3 and 1/2 months and the pain does not let up at all it is constantly hurting and she cannot even work her at home part time job with this pain. Do you think this General Surgeon did the right thing by referring her to another GI specialist or do you think this is adhesions that has reformed again?

I think it could be adhesions again.  I think you should see a top-rated general surgeon for a second opinion, but understand he may not recommend more surgery if he thinks the adhesions will return again.

Maybe they've been reformed, but I'm 15 years old and have been going through pain in the left pelvic region.  It all started as bloated, uncomfortable, pressuriezed feeling for two weeks and now that it's gone, I have frequency in urinating and pelvic pains.  What should I do?
