Feeling hot

Hi,

For the past 4 days I have been feeling really hot, throughout the day and a bit worse at night.  Im not sweating at all, and seeing its cold here at the moment when i try to cool my skin can feel the cold but I am still feeling hot on the inside.  Seems like my back and neck seem to get the most hot but it also goes down my arms, face a feet.

Any ideas what this might be??

Hello,

I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be due to hyperthyroidism. It is due to overactive thyroid gland. The other possibility that I can think of is menopause(if you are an elderly lady).

The other possibilities that need to be evaluated are chronic infections, malignancies and some neurological disorders.

I would suggest you to get your thyroid levels estimated and discuss these possibilities with your physician and get them ruled out one by one.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing and in case of additional queries.
