Flank pain, blood in urine, fatigue, nausea/vomiting, and random abdominal pain?

I've been going to the doctor for a month and a half now and so far they have no idea what's wrong with me.

Here are my symptoms:
-Kidney area pain on the right side (Originally thought it was a kidney stone, but all tests show my kidneys are fine)
-Abdominal pain also on the right side slightly above and inward of my hip bone
-Very small amount of blood in my urine
-Slightly elevated white cell count in urine and higher levels of calcium (still within "normal" range)
-Nausea which occasionally turns in to vomiting
-Fatigue (Sometimes mild, sometimes feels like mono)
-Hot/Cold flashes for no apparent reason. Cold most of the time
-Very small, itchy bug-bite type things all over my body (Possibly unrelated. I haven't given my dogs a flea treatment in awhile, but my husband doesn't have any "bites")

Most of these symptoms come and go as far as extremity. It seems like each day, or portion of the day a different symptom is the dominant issue and the others are barely noticeable. Sometimes they all come on together. Like I said, this has been going on for a month now, and I'm starting to get scared because of where the pain is and the vomiting. NOT good signs...

About two weeks before this started, I was diagnosed with a severe Vitamin D deficiency, my doctor said it was the second lowest she'd ever seen! They had me taking 50,000 UI of vitamin D once a week, they have since told me to stop, but my problems are still occurring.

I have had an x-ray, CT Scan and ultrasound to search my abdomen and everything looks normal. No inflammation, no stones, no infection. I've had a 24 hour urine collection, as well as a LOT of blood tests (sorry don't know what they were all for) but everything is normal. I asked the doctor to test me for Hyperparathyroidism because of my current and past issues, and the tests came back negative. Also, after two pelvic ultrasounds, it has been concluded that I have a pimple sized ovarian cyst, but the doctor said it isn't causing these issues. Today she told me I might have IBS, but that doesn't make sense to me with a lot of my symptoms.

My doctor has also recommended that I see a urologist, so I'm making the appointment as soon as they send my records. I was laid off a week and a half ago and my insurance is only good until the end of the month, so on my next appointment I want to go in with a list of things for them to check before my insurance is up, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!

I am having the Exact same problems. An U/S shows 2 cysts on my ovaries that are very small and the Dr says this is not the problem. I have traces of blood in my urine but no infection. I went last wk for a urodynamic study and I am waiting for the results. When I had the test I was only able to partially empty my bladder but felt no discomfort and did not even realize that I was unable to empty my bladder until the nurse advised there was 400mls left. She ended up having to empty my bladder for me. This problem has been going on for a few years now. I to have had countless blood tests ct scans on my kidneys. I really just wish someone could tell me what is wrong with me. I left the Dr today convinced that I am imagining all of this.  So it gives me hope to see others experiencing the same things I am. If anyone has any ideas as to what this condition is please reply.

I was going to suggest a urologist but I see that you already have had that recommendation. A nephrologist may be able to assist you as well. They work with the kidneys. It DOES sound as if your symptoms are related to the Urinary tract in some form or fashion. The little rash may be a result of your gallbladder. Something is definitely wrong and I would not stop searching until someone diagnosed me. Do you ever get a fever?

Just and update in case anybody else comes across this post that might be able to help. Still having the flank pain, and more frequently in my abdomen. Saw a specialist today, who looked at my records and pretty much said "Everything looks normal" and sent me on my way. I'm running out of ideas on who might be able to help, seems like most doctors don't care anymore. If they can't figure it out right away, they assume it's in your head, or just pass you off to another specialist.

Any suggestions on tests I can ask them to run? Or possible diagnosis to check out?
Thank you

I'm so sorry that you are also going through this... If the doctor hasn't tested your urine for signs of infection, blood, etc. that would probably be the best place to start. The good news is that there are so many smaller illnesses that can be causing all these issues. It could be a kidney infection, UTI, gall stones, etc. Try to keep your cool, and don't worry about kidney failure. My experience has been that when I get anxious and stressed out about my symptoms, they tend to get worse.

I know it sounds weird, but I'm so relieved that you responded saying you have similar issues. I'm starting to worry that I'm just going crazy since they can't find anything wrong with me. I'll keep you up to date if I find anything out from my doctors. I'm going to be seeing a urologist soon, and my husband just got a great recommendation for a naturopath. I'm not normally into natural medicine, but I'm grasping at straws right now.

Wow!  You just described all of my symptoms and I'm crying!  I am frantically searching the web because the dr that I saw today said I had a kidney stone as well but with everything I've had going on, I can pretty much conclude that it isn't...my symptoms were weird at first, just generally feeling off.  My back started bothering me and I tried everything to get it to stop, thinking it was just a muscle.  After 3 days, my symptoms are getting more excruciating and I can't sleep!  I'm scared because some of the symptoms (itching, swelling, nausea, pain, etc) are associated with kidney failure...I really hope someone has an answer.  Thanks for putting your story out here for me to find!
