Fluctuating Blood Pressure

I am 26 years old and 32 weeks pregnant.  I was diagnosed with high blood a couple of years ago, and it has up until now been under good control.  I monitor my blood pressure at home a few times a day.  Lately I have been having really fluctuating numbers. My normal number is usually around 120s/75 or 80.  Lately I have experienced sudden nausea and had readings of 164/106.  This usually lasts for a couple of hours.  Last night I was unable to sleep b/c every time I laid down I began to get extremely weak, shaky, sweaty and dizzy.  My BP reading was 88/59!  I was up all night from about 2am on b/c of these symptoms.  Now today I have been walking around feeling very dizzy and unbalanced and sweaty.  My BP was 106/63 (which is quite low for me).  I am extremely worried about these fluctuating pressures, and it has been very uncomfortable as well.  I have a history of anxiety attacks, and have experienced racing heart, dizziness, sweating and palpitations frequently.  I have been told by many doctors that all my symptoms are related to anxiety, but these spells don't feel like panic/ anxiety to me.  Generally when these spells occur I am not anxious, I just feel physically ill. I have also been told that I am dehydrated, but I drink water obsessively and every time my urine is checked they tell me I am very well hydrated.  My urine is almost always very very pale yellow or completely clear.  I'm scared and frustrated, anyone know what could be going on!?

HAVE U BEEN TO UR OB DR W/ THE LOW B/P COMPLAINTS?  HAVE THEY CHECKED YOUR ELECTROLYTES-LIKE UR SODIUM AND POTASSIUM LEVELS?  SOMETIMES WHEN UR SODIUM/K+ GETS TOO LOW IT CAN CAUSE THE WEAKNESS,LOW B/PS AND THROW U ALL OUT OF WHACK.  U DO NOT NEED TO TAKE ANY CHANCES HERE U NEED TO SEE UR OB ASAP-ASK THEM ABOUT UR ELECTROLYTES ESPECIALLY WHEN U SAID U DRINK TONS OF H2O THAT COULD BE WASHING OUT UR ELECTROLYTES AT TIMES THEN IF U EAT SOMTHING SALTY OR W/ A HIGH NA/K+ CONTENT IT COULD RAISE UR B/P-GET TO THE OB ASAP AND ASK THEM TO CHECK UR LABS INCLUDING UR ELECTROLYTES-VERY IMPORTANT=) ALSO IMBALANCED LABS CAN CAUSE U TO BE NAUSEATED TOO DEPENDING WHAT'S OUT OF WHACK AND HOW BAD IT IS. GOOD LUCK W/ THE LITTLE ONE...

Hi, you sound like you are getting bouts of hypotension, are you taking high blood pressure medication?
Also i would get checked for diabetes insipidus, which can make the urine very clear.

I would go and see the doctor, and tell him what is happening, if you are taking blood pressure meds, this can cause a fall in blood pressure, so be very careful that you dont have a fall, especially being pregnant,

Good luck . wishing you and the baby well.

All of these are common symptoms of hypotension. You should continue seeing your cardiologist as well as obgyn during pregnancy to better control bp. best of luck and congrats on unborn!!
