Frequent Stiffness, Nausea and Headache

Hi,
I've been suffering with this for years now but over the last year it seems to have gotten worse. Every few weeks I have an episode of feeling generally sick, with a very stiff neck and shoulders, a headache and nausea.

I thought it might be due to caffeine as I was drinking 7 cups of coffee a day but I have cut coffee out completely for over a month now and am still suffering.

Sometimes I get feverish aswell. When I've looked up these symptoms it comes up with meningitis, which I don't think it as it's a condition which goes away within 24 hours and reoccurs frequently.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be? It's becoming quite debilitating.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I was diagnosed with migraines a couple of years ago but these headaches aren't migraine headaches. Plus the stiffness is the biggest problem really.

Apart from that the doctors haven't really been very helpful.

Possibly an underlying  low grade infectious condition playing" hide and seek"
with your immune system.
Some pathogens can hide deep in tissues, some for life, away from the blood circulation and only when the immune system is overwhelmed, they become
active and cause infections along with many symptoms.

You did not mention if you had any tests or prior diagnosis.

Take care,
Niko
