Groin Pain and Burning Tongue

Hey there
thanks for the information on this site. I am trying to establish whethere this may be a sign of an STI or HIV. I had a twenty second stint of unprotected sex with a male partner, who when asked advised he was HIV negative.
On Day Six I noticed groin pain with a pain in my left thigh, but no swelling. By Day seven the pain went to my balls and now day nine I can feel it in my lower back when I lay down. I also think
my groin is now swollen. I have also noted that tonight the tip of my tongue has white lines forming circles.  I am trying to get an appointment with my doctor, but I need some answers as it's starting to worry me.
Thank you in advance

Hey there
The doctor says that my red blood cells were up in my urine sample (+15 I think I saw) but there was nothing else noted and white blood cells were normal, which she thinks could just be some sort of urethra disturbance. She's not worried and has asked if it continues to go back and see her

Thanks for your post too

Hi
Welcome to the forum!
Well, it could just be a simple bacterial infection due to poor hygiene of your partner causing orchitis, epidiymitis, prostatitis etc. It can also be an accompanying UTI. However there are chances of STD too which need to be ruled out. Please consult an urologist. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage without examining. Discuss these possibilities with your doctor at the appointment.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
