Groin pain ? STD never Detected

Dear Doc
I am 28 Year old male ,I had one time protected sex with a girl about 7 months ago In a third world country
Which after that I begun developing some weird symptoms.
Started with intense pain in my left groin and sort of like electricity pulsing between my left groin and testis to the left lower back. . Went to doctors, I took STD test all were neg.I took Doxycycline one for 7 days than 4 weeks later another 3 weeks of dyxocycline .Another month later 4 weeks on cipro   and than a month later I took 10 days of Amoxicillin TEV. My symptoms have improved within time, very slowly though.
At 4 months after, I took another STD(tests all neg ) because  at that time I have developed a kind like a hairy tongue that looked like thrush ( my ENT said hairy tongue not thrush )  Until today I have this hairy tongue and a trought that feels like there is something stuck in my trought. ( ENT said it is gas that is causing this )
My left groin still does not feel right it is very sensitive and sort like very slight burning sensation in the penis (sometimes.)
I went to my doctor he has no idea what this could be I took testicular scans and they are OK.    My doctor says that I may have developed an obsessive behavior????
If it is an obsessive behavior than it surely feels real……
The pain / discomfort is somewhere near left groin also about 4-5 inches below belly button to the left. I have been told that it is not STD but I am almost positive that I got it through having sex . PS. When I was on antibitics I had number of days that are felt normal. What you think doc ?

I had similar symptoms at 25.  I never could get a good diagnosis out of a doctor, but I figured out that my problem was a varicose vein, which was being made worse by caffine. This may or may not be whats affecting you.

Do you drink a lot of coffee or tea?   My problem slowly got better as I stopped the morning cup of black tea. Also, try getting some very supportive underwear--that helped me quite a bit.  

I also had the experience that a few days into the antibiotics, I started to feel fine.  I think that might have been placebo, because it never stayed that way.

I drink caffinated beverages now and then these days, but whenever I get too habitual about it, the pain starts to come back.  It never gets as bad as it was at first, but it takes a couple months to cycle in and cycle out, so be patient.

Good luck.  Let me know what happens.

Hi Joe Doe, I have the same, sex = Day 1

Day 2 I had bruised feeling above pubic hair,
Day 3 also tingling end of penis
Day 4 also urethritis
Day 6 also felt something move from bruised area above pubic hair up my spine
Day 7 also testicle pain,
Day 10 also inner leg pain and under arm pain

Tested at day 7, day 28, and three months, all tests negative.

However started cipro on day 28 for 28 days, symptoms only started to get better after taking for 21 days. two weeks after finishing cipro all symptoms gone except these which I have now had for 9 months = tender feeling in pubic hair, dull ache in arms and legs which comes and goes but is there everyday (made worse with standing for long periods) along with sore throat and ocasional shooting pains in end of penis.

I have to relieve ache in legs by keeping legs raised whenever possible.

What I caught I still have, it seems to affect circulation and causes major arteries (arms and legs) to ache.

Seeing as I am not alone I assume it is an uncharted STD?

Is there a way there is uncharted area in STD's ?
Could I / we have some sort of an STD not discovered by
Scientists ?

The pain I am feeling is very much there all the time ,
Dull discomfort that always reminds me " hey I'm here "
Seems like that left side of the groin is inflamed or something . I found a spot ( actually my doctor did ) when he would poke at it I would jump ,It would hurt ... It is almost exactly at the base of the penis ( left side ) .But we did CAT scan of my whole lower body and everything was ok he said.
I went to few doctors they have no idea of what in the hell is wrong with me .

I don't know what to do what to think ? Some one help...... Dear Doc

I have just started getting the same symptoms.I have groin pain but to the right rather than the left and my tongue is white & coated and my mouth dry.I had my urine ,stool & liver tested.My liver test came back abnormal & i am guessing due to alcohol.But the groin pain and the tongue is a mystery.My doc says i have dry mouth ,but i cannot get rid of it.I also suffer heartburn (have done a long time).My tongue when i wake up is yellow at the back and my teeth look stained until brushing.I also get lower back pain and my bowel movements seem to be less tahn the intake & take 2 days (sort of like constipation).Maybe i have more than 1 thing going on here or they are all linked?

Any ideas doc?

I have the same symptoms..same pain. the pain gets worse if you smoke weed. Doctor says im being paranoid and im fine. I do drink alot of coffee..could that really be the reason? i thought i had epididyomitis, but after treatment i still felt the pain. doctors tested for infection in my urine, there was none. no stds either..wtf is this? help!

I have exactly the same symptoms. I had unprotected sex with a girl and after 3 days I could feel something in my groin. I didn't feel pain though. But it became more painful everyday and the pain became more intense. The pain was worst after 1-2 months, it felt like my groin and sometimes my upper leg and knees are burning. I went to the doctor took STD tests, all negative.

Now, I've this for 7 months - sometimes the pain can go away for like 4-5 days, but it always come back. I hope someone can figure out this disease

I too have groin pain and white tongue that developed at the same time and have been hanging around for three months despite treatment for both.
