Ulcers/Celiac Disease was started.
Hi and thanks for your comments. If you don't mind me asking, I would like to know since you mentioned that GERD can cause chest pains. I don't have H. pylori but have reflux in the upper I guess esophageal "area" I don't know what they call it. I don't feel the reflux but I do get very sharp chest pains that resolve when I take GasX. It is really sharp. Is this the same type of thing that you are talking about? For the post above? Or is it just gas.
thanks in advance!

H pylori is an infection of the lining of the stomach that can cause inflammation and ulcers in the stomach, resulting in abdominal pain and nausea. It is actually quite common. In the presence of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD, or heartburn), it can certainly be associated with chest pain, because of extension of the acidic contents of the stomach into the esophagus, which is in the chest.
It doesn't cause chest pain associated with the heart.
H. pylori causes ulcers and rarely can cause stomach cancer. But I haven't heard of or read that it can cause chest pain. I think you need to see a doctor to have the chest pain looked at.
H pylori is a kind of bacteria. It's known for causing stomach ulcers and may make a person more likely to get have stomach cancer (I've read mixed things on it). The stomach ulcers are extremely painful and cause indigestion, which could lead to heart burn. I'm unsure about any other kinds chest pains H pylori can give you, but heart burn can be mistaken for chest pains. Maybe someone was meaning heart burn or confused the two.
