Having redness at periphery of tougue

Hi,

I am having redness at periphery of my tongue. It has red blisters all over and paining like hell. I los all the taste. Can't eat and drink anything. Before this I had high fever but there is no more fever. Doctor suspected it as a viral infection and given the anitviral medicine (vartex). But there is no improvement.
Please help me. I am dying everyday!

Thanks Dcotornee medical, I had a examination of my saliva and blood as well and doctor said that it was Enterovirus infection! Now I am getting better but still lacking the full taste of food. Doctor said it may take time to recover taste buds.
This info I posted here for the help of members, in case if somebody has such type of problem.

regards,

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
What you have is probably Vitamin B3 deficiency along with iron deficiency. Try a multivitamin pill that contain B complex vitamins and iron along with ascorbic acid. Vitamin B12 deficiency can increase the Vitamin B3 loss.
“The best sources of vitamin B3 are found in protein-rich foods such as lean meats, chicken, fish, eggs, cooked dried beans and peas, liver, nonfat or lowfat milk and cheese, soybeans, and nuts.

Other good sources include brewer's yeast, wheat germ, enriched breads and cereals, whole grains (except corn), mushrooms, and green vegetables. Vitamin B3 can be lost in cooking water, so you should steam, bake, or stir-fry vegetables when possible.” Refer: http://alternativedr.com/vitamin_b3.htm

Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
