Head pain

by chrismo, Nov 02, 2005 12:00AM
I have had a headache on the left side of my head now for about 4 weeks. I do not have high blood pressure or any medical problems. The pain is located on my left temple, around my left eyebrow and the base of my head on the left side. I can also feel pressure on my the left side of my face. Sometimes my left ear aches also. I do not have a sinus infection. My doctor gave me a sample of imitrax (he did state he was not sure it was a migrane), but it is too strong and after taking the sample I woke up 4 hours later with my head hurting worst. Not sure what to do or what it could be

I canhardly beleive what you have written! I am having the same thing almost, I know its in my head but presenting in my eye! My face has swollen actually, did you have a big stabbing pain at the start at all with colored lights?  My MRI is aug 30 but I have this for over 8 weeks now... I hope someone knows what it may be! Best of luck!
