Help - please.

Hi.
I had sex 2-3days ago. Since yesterday I keep feeling like i need to urinate, but often hardly anything comes out as i have gone so much, just afterwards it tends to sting a little inside. I also feel pressure in my abdomen and there has been a little bit of blood on the tissue or coming out with my urine, however only a small amount! I am due to have my period around now..is this it? it is different than usual...much slower at happening and much lighter. Or could it be a urinary tract infection? Also I have heard that a slight amount of blood can be due to implantation!! This is making me terrified I could be pregnant! We only had sex for a very very short time, he used a condom and im almost 100% he did not come. So i think it is unlikely. I also think this as my period is due, so the chances of becoming pregnant are slim as i would not be ovulating around now. Though i have to add my periods can be irregular!
Can UTI go away without seeing the doctor? i have felt this constant urge to urinate before, after sex which may have been a little roughter than usual, but it went away after a few days...however i never experiened blood that was not  like my period.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The symptoms could be due to simple bacterial UTI. Chances of STD and pregnancy are less. You need to get a urine examination done. Drink plenty of fluids, try apple cider and cranberry juice. This may help to control infection to some extent. If not, you will have to consult a doctor.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
