High pm cortisol, Low am cortisol

I have thyroid issues and also adrenal problems, too. In two different saliva cortisol tests done two years apart, I've had low am cortisol and high pm cortisol levels. I've gained a ton of weight, although I exercise daily and on a low-cal diet. I also have major sleep issues, edema, asthma made worse from stress, depression, anxiety, periods of sudden anger--everything seems to set me off these days. I crave sweets all the time. I've been to several doctors, none of them able to treat me, and I don't see my new doctor for another month. I was on Flovent for 10 years and at first doctors thought I had Cushings, but I tested negative for it.
