High white blood cell count and fever with no answers

4 days ago I randomly spiked a fever of 103 while I was in bed. Thought I'd wait it out until the morning to see my primary doctor and I would treat it with Tylenol. I took tylenol all night and fevers never went away. That morning when I went in to see my doctor my temp was at 103.6 and they sent me to the hospital. My white blood cell count was 21700 and they became concerned. They ended up doing a cat scan, 2 ultrasounds, chest x ray and 2 pelvic exams. Everything was fine. My urine sample and std test was also normal. They said all my tests were normal and there was no sign or virus or infection. They eventually ended up sending me home once my fever stayed at 102 only to give me ibuprofen and instructions to return if things get worse. Just wondering if it could be anything else? I'm now on Day 4 of fevers that can't seem to stay away long.

Hello~I honestly don't know what could be causing your issues. I am thinking maybe you have some hidden chemical allergies, a spider bite reaction, or a yeast infection in your gut called "Candida" Most all of these can cause the issues you are having. I would see a Naturopath or an MD that specializes in integrative medicine, they seem to know how to get to the root of issues like this as they take a lot of time with the patient on the first visit and on future visits as well.
