Thanks to everyone. I'm getting a physical soon. My dad thinks I have arthritis. But I'm just going to go to my doctor and get everything checked out.
i would go to the doctors just to get it sorted out,it could be muscle sprain or neck or spinal damage,my hips always hurts when i sleeps on them but in all fairness they are proper boney.
Its neither overreacting or a teen thing. The tiredness of the heart: maybe. Though, the hip could be spinal damage. Have youe seen a doctor upon this?
You NEED to see your doctor. those kinds of pains are not normal for any age.
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
There is a pinched nerve somewhere. It could be at the hip joint due to arthritis or necrosis of head of femur or due to any other problem or it could be at lower spine level. An X-ray of the hip joint should be done. If need be A MRI will be required. Consult an orthopedic specialist.
If the hip joint is normal, then it could be pinched nerve at lumbo-sacral region. This is commonly called sciatica. This can happen due to overuse of the lower back as in work requiring too much of bending, lifting weight, fall on the back, overweight, canal stenosis, bone disease, spondylosis, poor posture etc. Poor posture while sleeping, sitting on computers or jobs for a long time, uneven bed, exposure of back to cold air while sleeping can cause a discomfort for a few days. Please consult a neurologist. A MRI of the spine is definitely required. Take a multivitamin, plenty of fluids, and an OTC analgesic. Apply a local analgesic and sleep with a hot water bottle and see if it helps.
Since you feel palpitations, either it is effect of drug or rheumatic heart disease should be ruled out. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
