How do I get rid of this feeling?

I have had this sick, nervous, butterfly in my tummy feeling for the past 9 days now. At first I thought it was because I didnt get enough sleep or needed to eat more but then I realized that it hasn't gone away and its starting to make me very uptight and restless. How do I get rid of this feeling?

This discussion is related to nervous feeling when im not nervous, i can control the 'butterflies'.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The sick nervous feeling you are getting could be anxiety and panic disorder. Having said that, first rule out severe acidity and diabetes as the cause of this feeling. Consult your PCP and see what he says.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Maybe you have general anxiety. I have had anxiety all of my life, but when I was younger I did not recognise my symtoms as feeling anxious, I thought I was really ill. Sometimes you can be suffering from anxiety without knowing as your worries manifest into physical symptoms. Also, if you are feeling kind of sick it may be a good idea to take a pregnancy test. Hope you get well!x
